The awards evening celebrated remarkable people from across the social care sector, highlighting excellence and rewarding those who work tirelessly to provide consistently outstanding care.

Our charity was proud to see our fantastic online hub, What To Do, scoop the Business Initiative of the Year award, recognising a forward-thinking project that supports colleagues and creates incredible outcomes for the people we support.

Created during the Covid-19 pandemic to tackle loneliness and isolation, and to provide exciting experiences for people accessing social care across the UK, What To Do offers free live accessible activities, in partnership with leading sports, cultural and community groups.

From creative arts classes to PE and games sessions, and even an at-home disco, it has reached more than 12,400 people with learning disabilities and autism over the past 12 months, harnessing technology to create fulfilling opportunities and change lives.

On the awards evening, Aaron, an incredible person we support who frequently attends sessions on What To Do, and our colleague, Rebeca Tiriteu, were over the moon to represent our charity in collecting the award.
