Supporting People To Vote – General Election 2019

Community Integrated Care’s Quality Advisors developed a special publication, sharing with people who work in the social care sector their advice on how to support people to participate and vote, which we have updated for the upcoming General Election on Thursday 12th December 2019.

Quality Advisors are people supported, and employed by, Community Integrated Care to help us make sure the voice of the people we support is heard when our charity makes important decisions.

The guide was developed at a fun and creative workshop where our Quality Advisors discussed how politics affects their lives and how people can be enabled to vote. It gives creative and easy to adopt advice on how best to support people to cast their vote.

We hope this guide encourages and enables many people who have learning disabilities, mental health concerns, autism and dementia to take part in the General Election.

Voting Day: Thursday 12th December 2019
