Our Charity Wins Best Not-For-Profit Communications Award

Community Integrated Care’s Internal Communications Team has been awarded four top accolades at this year’s Institute of Internal Communications (IoIC) #ExcellenceExpress Central and North Awards.

Our charity’s Internal Communications Team of two, Danielle Chan & Siobhan Biggane, were recognised in all four categories they were shortlisted in, at this year’s IoIC #ExcellenceExpress Awards, continuing their incredible run of award success.

At the prestigious award ceremony, which took place at the National Rail Museum in York on Thursday 16th March, the team won ‘Best Not-for-Profit Communications Team’ in the IoIC in the Community category, recognising their pioneering approaches to engage our 6000-strong workforce, including the launch of GameChangers, Community Integrated Care’s first ever Employee Forum.

The team also collected an Award of Excellence for ‘Best In-House Team of the Year’ and were presented with two Certificate of Merits; ‘Best Campaign’ for the launch of GameChangers and ‘Best Magazine’ for the relaunch You First, our magazine for supporters of Community Integrated Care.

Our Internal Communication Team’s success at this year’s IoIC North and Central Awards continues to see them grow from strength to strength. They are fast becoming one of the UK’s best internal communications team, having scooped up an incredible six awards at the Chartered Institute of PR (CIPR) #InsideStory Awards in February, and winning ‘Best Internal Communications Campaign’ at the Chartered Institute of PR (CIPR) Pride North West Awards in November 2016.

Danielle Chan, Head of Communications & Engagement, said: “As we are a fairly new team, it’s a real honour to be recognised by the Institute of Internal Communications for what we have achieved in such a short time. It’s been an incredible year so far and we wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for the hard-work and dedication of our talented colleagues.”
