Home Safari Visits EachStep

Staff and residents of EachStep Blackley, Community Integrated Care’s flagship dementia service in Manchester, welcomed the animals from Home Safari for a session of animal assisted therapy.

It has been recognised by health professionals that animal therapy can benefit a person’s health and wellbeing. As well as offering a stimulating and engaging experience, the cute critters give residents give residents memories they can cherish!

Residents and staff all got the opportunity to hold and interact with all the animals, which included a goat and a ferret, with the more fearless in the group even getting to grips with a snake!
