We Win Outstanding Complex Care Provider Award
We’re delighted to announce that one of our Complex Care teams in Worcestershire took home the Outstanding Complex Care Provider accolade at a special
awards ceremony which took place on Tuesday 28th October.
The team, who support a young woman named Beth to live her best life possible, won the honour at last night’s Neurological and Complex Care Awards in London – the first awards ceremony of its kind, hosted by Care Talk Magazine.
The win follows Beth’s appearance in our charity’s You First magazine and recognises the team’s outstanding support, facilitating Beth’s move to independent living. Previously, Beth had lived at a specialist placement in a hospital setting, but with the team’s support, she is now thriving in her very own home.
Their support goes far beyond care – they have empowered Beth to live with renewed confidence, living a life that truly reflects her independence and identity.
Tejinder Singh, Service Manager, said: “We’re all incredibly proud to see Beth’s team win the Outstanding Complex Care Provider Award. With the team’s support, in collaboration with Beth’s previous provider, her family, and multidisciplinary teams, Beth has flourished – moving into her own home, building her independence, and even joining a group of volunteers, to give back to her community. This isn’t just our award, it’s Beth’s award, and we’re absolutely thrilled to receive this recognition”
Managing Director for the South, Central and Yorkshire regions, Edd Terrey, commented on the success: “This award celebrates the incredible work of our Complex Care Teams, who combine clinical expertise, innovation, and workforce excellence to deliver person-centred support. It’s a proud recognition of our commitment to empowering people to live with independence and dignity – and a testament to our innovation in complex care. Since being supported by our charity, it’s been astounding to see just how much Beth has achieved. We’re delighted to be a part of Beth’s journey and we look forward for what the future has in store for Beth and her team.”
Clare McMurchie, a Regional Manager for Community Integrated Care in Scotland, was a finalist in the prestigious Care Manager of the Year Award. At the ceremony, Clare received commendation for her unwavering dedication to the social care sector – celebrated for her person-centred leadership, consistently outstanding inspection outcomes, and her instrumental role in developing new supported living services within her community.
We’d like to congratulate Beth’s team on this fantastic achievement, and Clare on her commendation. You can read more about Community Integrated Care’s previous awards successes here
