We Appoint Chief Information Officer
Community Integrated Care is delighted to announce the appointment of Tara Walker to our Executive Team as our Chief Information Officer – a brand-new role for our charity.
Tara brings a wealth of experience from her previous role at Atlanta Group (part of The Ardonagh Group), where she also served as Chief Information Officer. A commercially minded senior leader in technology and digital transformation, Tara has worked across a diverse range of organisations – from agile start-ups to large, regulated environments.
Her expertise spans shaping and delivering technology strategies, creating scalable ways of working, and driving growth through innovation, partnerships, and acquisitions. Tara’s appointment marks a significant milestone for our charity, as we build on our strong foundations in digital enablement and embed technology and data at the heart of our strategic plans.
Speaking of Tara’s appointment, our CEO Jim Kane said: “As a charity, we’re powered by fantastic people and with Tara’s leadership, we’ll continue to develop the right capabilities to ensure our colleagues can focus on what they do best – supporting people to live the best lives possible.”
“Tara’s clear values and enthusiasm for our mission have really stood out to us, and combined with her specialist knowledge and experience, we’re very much looking forward to seeing the incredible impact she can have on everything that we do.”
Tara said, “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining Community Integrated Care in this new role – it’s a real privilege to be part of an organisation with such a powerful social purpose.”
“Technology and data are such powerful drivers for positive change in organisations now and I’m excited to help shape how it can unlock new possibilities – enabling colleagues to do their best work and the people we support to thrive.”
