This year’s ceremony, held on Saturday 1st November 2025, brought together inspiring individuals and groups who are making a real difference in their communities.

This incredible achievement recognises the creativity, dedication, and community spirit of more than 50 people supported by our charity, alongside our colleagues, families, and friends, who co-created and performed in the show at Aberdeen Arts Centre in November 2024.

The pantomime, which began in 2019 through Inspire before its merger with Community Integrated Care, has grown into a cherished annual tradition. From starring roles to set design, every element of the production was shaped by the talents and passions of those involved – empowering people we support to express themselves, build new skills, and shine on stage.

Sara Murphy, Managing Director for Scotland at Community Integrated Care, said: “Winning this award is a phenomenal achievement and a true testament to the power of creativity, inclusion, and teamwork. I’m so proud of every single person who contributed to this unforgettable production. It’s more than just a show – it’s a celebration of what’s possible when people are empowered to dream big and work together.”

She continued, “We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported the pantomime and helped bring this magical production to life. Here’s to many more show-stopping performances in the years to come!”

Brydon Lee, a person supported by the charity who starred as Peter Pan in the show, said: “Being part of the pantomime was amazing. I loved every moment – from rehearsals to performing on stage. Winning the award makes it even more special! I’m so proud of us all.”
