Executive Team members up for National Awards!
This week, Community Integrated Care is delighted to be celebrating two members of our Executive Team – Teresa Exelby, our Chief People Officer, and Jim Kane, our Chief Financial Officer – being nominated for top accolades in their fields of work!
Teresa has been shortlisted for the prestigious HR Director of the Year accolade at the HR Excellence Awards, recognising our charity’s extensive wellbeing strategy and benefits package. This includes the introduction of an industry-leading rate of pay for frontline Support Workers earlier this year, to £10 per hour in England and £11 per hour in Scotland. The awards evening will take place in London on Tuesday 6 December, where winners will be revealed.
Meanwhile, Jim has been recognised at the Finance Director Awards in the Not For Profit category respectively, acknowledging the challenging landscape of the social care sector and the funding pressures that many providers continue to face. Winners for Finance Director of the Year will be announced this Thursday (17th November) at a prestigious ceremony in Liverpool.
Both nominations represent a major success for our charity, with our teams, partnerships, and projects shortlisted for over 50 accolades this awards season.
Jim said, “I’d like to say a huge thank you to the panel for this special recognition – I’m thrilled to be shortlisted at this year’s Finance Director of the Year awards, in the mix with household names such as Yodel and Wain Homes. I’d like to wish all of my fellow finalist’s luck for the evening.
He continued, “This nomination is testament to the fantastic work of all of our teams at our charity, in particular all of those at the Finance department.”
