Community Integrated Care’s Awards Achievements

Over the last few months, we have had an incredible 32 shortlisted finalists across 9 prestigious ceremonies honouring our exceptional care teams, pioneering partnerships and personalised support. This highlights the incredible amount of hard-work and effort from our colleagues – and to say we are proud is a huge understatement! Our colleagues collecting awards

As we have said throughout this awards season, to be shortlisted for these respected accolades is a huge achievement, with our finalists competing with thousands of other nominees up and down the country for their space.

There have been some special highlights throughout these awards that have stood out to us. One of these being our organisation as a whole being shortlisted for Care Employer of the Year, twice! Community Integrated Care was nominated for this esteemed award at both the Great North West Care Awards and the Great North East Care Awards – going on to win this in the North East!

Our exceptional team at West Lodge also deserve a mention, with them being nominated for a monumental 3 awards at the Great North East Care Awards – going on to win the prestigious Care Team Award.

One of our services in Wigan, Eliot Gardens, also managed to secure multiple nominations with an impressive 4 overall, this time at the Great North West Care Awards. Registered Manager, Andrea Lyon, went on to win The Housing with Care Award, in addition to Support Worker, Vikki Tarbuck, winning the Care Newcomer Award.

A third of our nominations this awards season has been for our colleagues from our Older People’s Services division, with them shortlisted for an amazing 11 awards across 5 award ceremonies! A special mention must also be extended to two of our home managers, who were up for not one but two awards each. Michelle Phillips, Manager of our EachStep Blackley care home in Manchester and Tina Callan, Manager of our Heartly Green service in Salford, were both shortlisted for Care Home Manager of the Year at an impressive 3 different ceremonies.

The excitement continues as we eagerly await the national the Great British Care Awards final in March, which winners from the regional awards will be attending. I’m sure you will join us in wishing them a huge good luck!
