Chloe Felgate joins Quality Advisors
We’re delighted to share that Chloe Felgate has joined Community Integrated Care as the newest member of the charity’s Quality Advisors team.
The Quality Advisors are an incredible group of individuals who are currently, or have previously been, supported by the charity. Employed by Community Integrated Care as ‘experts by experience’, the group use their insights from receiving support to enhance the care the charity provides – promoting the voice of people supported across the UK.
Having experience with being supported by our colleagues in Dorset, Chloe is excited to get started in her new role, overseeing Quality Advisor work in the South.
As part of this, she will be visiting people supported in their homes and having important conversations with them to gather their feedback. We’re delighted that, with Chloe’s support, the Quality Advisors will be able to reach even more people.
Speaking of the news, Chloe told us: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining Community Integrated Care as a Quality Advisor. For a long time, it’s been my goal to achieve paid employment, and I couldn’t be more pleased that my new role will be playing a part in the development of this amazing charity.”
“Years ago, I was visited by a Quality Advisor at my service, and I was inspired by the visit. So, when my Service Leader, Sadie, told me I could apply to join the team, I was so happy!”
“I’m really eager to start travelling to services, meeting other people like me, and promoting the voices of people supported by Community Integrated Care – to build on the great work that support teams like mine are doing, across the country.”
Natasha Palliser, one of our Recruitment Specialists in the South of England, completed Chloe’s onboarding. She said: “We’re all so pleased to be welcoming Chloe to the charity. Even before she was officially appointed, Chloe had been supporting our teams and showing just how worthy she is of this role. From travelling to job fairs and telling potential applicants all about Community Integrated Care, to attending Parliament to champion our Unfair to Care campaign, Chloe has been getting stuck into all the action and I can’t imagine a more fitting addition to the team.”
Participation Specialist, Carla Pipkin, works most closely with our Quality Advisors team. She told us: “We’re thrilled to have Chloe join us and grow the number of Quality Advisors within the charity. With Chloe onboard, the team will have more capacity to keep doing the important work they do, reach more people we support, and we’ll benefit from more diverse voices, to help us make an incredible impact. This is an exciting time for the group!”
We’d like to wish a warm welcome to Chloe and offer our congratulations on her new role.
