Arkitect Barbers Launch Fundraising Initiative

Arkitect Barbers, located in Widnes and Warrington, have launched a special fundraising initiative to support the leading social care charity, Community Integrated Care, at this much needed time.

The barbers have generously donated free haircuts for a year to the winner of their special online raffle, which goes live today (10th April). The raffle, which has 50 available places at £20 each, will give one lucky winner free haircuts every fortnight, worth £312.

Community Integrated Care Fundraising Campaign

The aim is to raise £1000 for Community Integrated Care, with every penny helping local people with care and support needs to continue to lead great lives throughout this crisis. It will also support the heroic frontline carers who are delivering this support, providing them with special care packages as they work tirelessly at this challenging time.

Community Integrated Care is one of the biggest and most successful charities in the UK, supporting thousands of people who have learning disabilities, mental health concerns and dementia. It is a leading care provider in across Widnes and Warrington, the home Arkitects’ two Barber shops. It was named the Charity Times 2019/20 Charity of the Year for its impact on society.

Joe Mawdsley, Owner of Arkitect said, “At Arkitect we’re always really keen to give back to our local communities. When we heard about the incredible work being delivered at Community Integrated Care, especially at this current time, we couldn’t think of a better cause to support.”

He continued, “We’re extremely grateful to everyone working on the frontline of this crisis, helping to keep the most vulnerable people in our communities safe and well. We’ve worked hard to create the best prize we possibly can. I’m sure our loyal clients will really get behind this initiative, knowing that their money will really make such a huge difference.”

John Hughes, Director of Partnerships and Communities at Community Integrated Care said, “I’m incredibly grateful for Joe, the entire team at Arkitect and all of their clients for supporting such an important fundraising campaign. Every single penny donated will make a real difference to the lives of the people we support locally and to our heroic frontline carers.

He continued, “The support of fundraisers to our charity has never been more valuable. I’ve known Joe and his team at Arkitect for some time now and have seen their generosity in supporting important local causes. I’m grateful that they have recognised the impact of our charity locally. These are challenging times, but with the support of partners like Arkitect, we can continue to make a real difference to society.”
