About this Programme

This programme has been celebrated for its impact in making gardening truly accessible – promoting wellbeing, independence, and joy.

It builds upon Community Integrated Care and RSPB’s Save Our Wild Isles partnership with National Trust and WWF, which was inspired by Sir David Attenborough’s acclaimed documentary. This initiative was recognised with the Care Innovator Award (2024) for Scotland & North East at the Great British Care Awards and was celebrated as one of the top 10 innovations in the social care sector in 2025.
