Shortlisted For Two Sports Business Awards!
Community Integrated Care is proud to share that our charity has been shortlisted for two awards at the 2025 Sports Business Awards – recognising our inclusion, innovation and impact in sport, led by insights and ideas cultivated by the people we support.
The Sports Business Awards celebrate teams working behind the scenes to make sporting success possible – recognising commitment, creativity and excellence, across the industry. Winners will be announced on Friday 21st November at a ceremony in London.
We’re delighted to be shortlisted for two accolades:
- Sports Innovation Award – recognising our training programmes, innovative solutions and our brilliant Support Squad – a team of people who have lived experience of disability, who share their talents, experiences and ideas to help events and organisations to become more inclusive and accessible.
- Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Award – celebrating our charity’s work partnering with major sports organisations, athletes and events, to ensure that people who draw on care are included and empowered within the sports industry.
John Hughes, Community Integrated Care’s Director of Partnerships and Communities, said, ““We’re proud that Community Integrated Care’s work to make sport and social care more inclusive is being recognised internationally on this prestigious stage. Through long-term strategic partnerships with organisations like the Rugby Football League, the Lawn Tennis Association and British Cycling, we’re delivering pioneering programmes that open up health, social and economic opportunities and amplify the voices of the people we support. Our thanks go to to our partners, Support Squad team and colleagues for their essential role in this ambitious, life-changing work.”
