Sports – Social Impact, Social Change

Community Integrated Care has led some of the world’s most ambitious and innovative approaches to social impact, accessibility and inclusion for disabled communities in sport. That’s why we’ve been named as both developing the Best Community Scheme in sport and the UK’s Care Innovators of the year.

Our programmes and partnerships address health, social and economic inequalities for disabled communities at scale, whilst empowering the growth, strategy and success of our sporting partners.

New Models of Sport and Physical Activity

From the award-winning Learning Disability Super League - named Best Sports Community Scheme for enabling people to play adapted rugby league with major clubs and events - to Care To Play, our training and engagement programme with Table Tennis England, we’re redefining inclusive participation in sport across care services.

Inclusive Volunteering™

Delivered in partnership with global tournaments like the Rugby League World Cup and Tour Of Britain, the programme empowers people who draw on social care to gain skills, confidence, and purpose through tailored vocational experiences. Inclusive Volunteering™ has been named Best Community Scheme at the Sports Business Awards!

Athlete Engagement

We help athletes use their platforms to create real impact. Our long-term ambassadors include Ilkay Gundogan, Gemma Bonner, Jack Hunter-Spivey, and many Super League stars—sharing their stories to uplift communities and inspire inclusion.
