We Join Adult Social Care Testbed

Community Integrated Care is proud to announce that we have joined the Adult Social Care Testbed – joining efforts to pioneer the use of data and technology within social care.

The Adult Social Care Testbed, established in partnership with the National Care Forum, is a unique group of care providers, academic experts, technical professionals, people with lived experience and industry leaders.

Backed by the University of Liverpool, the Testbed aims to codesign, test and evaluate data-driven and technology-enabled social care solutions. Operating across the Liverpool City Region, this work will drive innovation in social care and chart an exciting future for the sector.

Community Integrated Care has joined the Testbed alongside a variety of other major social care providers working within the Liverpool area, including Abbeyfield, Making Space, Belong and L’Arche.

Managing Director for Technology Enabled Care, Joanna Scammell, said: “We’re delighted to have joined the Adult Social Care Testbed and to be a part of the efforts to break new ground within the social care sector.”

“As a provider at the forefront of innovation in technology enabled care, we’ve seen the amazing impact that technology can have, empowering people to have more choice over their support and to become more independent and confident in their everyday lives. We’re excited to be a part of a group advancing these developments and look forward to supporting the Testbed further.”
