Trustees Visit Our Stockport Services

We were delighted to welcome Community Integrated Care Trustees, Keith Rhodes and Kathryn Marsden, to visit four of our charity’s services across Stockport, on Tuesday 24th March.

Keith and Kathryn are stood with a colleague, all smiling to camera. They are inside one of our services in a bright and airy room with a window behind them.Joined by Assistant Managing Director, Paula Dodman, the visit offered a fantastic opportunity for our Trustees to meet colleagues and the people we support, gaining real insight into the dedication, passion and impact of our teams within the local community.

Across the day, Keith and Kathryn visited a range of services – from supported living settings to care homes – seeing first-hand how our teams deliver highly personalised, compassionate support tailored to each individual’s unique needs, preferences and aspirations. They were able to speak directly with people we support, hear their stories and learn more about the innovative approaches our colleagues use to promote independence and wellbeing.

Reflecting on the day, Paula said, “We were delighted to welcome Kathryn and Keith to spend the day with us and experience just some of our fantastic services across Stockport. Their enthusiasm and genuine interest in the work happening here meant so much to our teams.”

“I’d like to say a huge thank you to them both for taking the time to meet our colleagues and, most importantly, the people we support locally. These visits are incredibly valuable – they give our Trustees the opportunity to see the incredible impact our teams make every day, and they give our colleagues and the people we support the chance to showcase their achievements, ideas and the things they are most proud of.”
