Our Todlaw Support Service Rated ‘Very Good’
Community Integrated Care is proud to see Todlaw, a supported living service in Scotland, praised by inspectors in their latest Care Inspectorate report.
Providing supported living and care at to 15 people with a range of support needs, the
team was rated ‘Very Good’ in four categories – supporting people’s well-being, leadership, the staff team and the planning of care and support.
Inspectors identified significant strengths across all aspects of care and support, particularly around promoting independence and choice. They shared that people were living active, fulfilling lives, supported by a team who know them well and work in ways that build confidence, dignity, and meaningful connection.
During the inspection at Todlaw, one person described their support as “second to none”, whilst another told the Care Inspectorate, “I’m very happy with my care, it’s excellent”.
Pat Lamb, Service Leader for Todlaw, said, “This fantastic Care Inspectorate outcome is a real testament to the passion and dedication of the team at Todlaw. Our commitment to empowering people to live the lives they choose is reflected every day in the support we provide, and we’re incredibly proud to be recognised for creating an environment where people feel comfortable, respected and genuinely happy with their care.
