Scotland Services ‘Very Good’ Care Inspectorate Ratings

Community Integrated Care is proud to share that Scottish services have received a rating of ‘Very Good’ in their latest Care Inspectorate reports – with inspectors praising our teams for changing lives for the better.

Jedburgh

Providing housing support and care at home to ten people with a range of support needs, Inspectors rated the service ‘Very Good’, highlighting the team’s strong approach to care planning and the active role people play in directing their own support.

Inspectors noted that care plans were full of ‘rich, personalised details’ which enabled people to achieve their goals, and families were equally full of praise. One relative said simply: “I trust them. They have totally changed my relative’s life for the better.”

Todlaw

Our Todlaw supported living service in Scotland supports 15 people with a range of support needs, and was also rated ‘Very Good’. Inspectors found that people were living active, fulfilling lives, supported by a team who know them well and work in ways that build confidence, dignity and meaningful connection.

A person we support described their support as “second to none”, while another told inspectors: “I’m very happy with my care, it’s excellent.”

Our services in Ellon

We are proud to share that three of our services in Ellon, Scotland – Auchmore Road, Slains Crescent and Carolines Crescent – have each been rated ‘Very Good’ by the Care Inspectorate.

At Slains Crescent, inspectors praised the warm, homely atmosphere the team has created, highlighting the depth of relationships between staff and the people they support – noting that genuine knowledge of people’s lives and preferences led to truly meaningful connections.

Auchmore Road, family feedback spoke volumes, with one family member sharing they were “extremely happy with the service”, reflecting a team that treats people with consistent dignity and respect.

The team’s commitment to person-led activity was commended by inspectors at Carolines Crescent, where it was clear that the service supports people to pursue the things that matter to them.

Muirs Court

Praising the team’s warm and compassionate, person-centred approach, Muirs Court supports five people with a range of support needs and also received a ‘Very Good’ rating.

Families echoed this, with one relative describing how staff had been “attentive and supportive” during a period when their loved one’s health needs changed suddenly – expressing confidence that the team acted with compassion and commitment throughout.

Eden Drive

Eden Drive provides care and support to four people. During the inspection, one of the people we support told inspectors how the service had provided a “safe and stable home” – enabling them to pursue their personal goals, fulfil their wish to work, and had a positive impact on their wellbeing.

Inspectors praised the team across all aspects of care and support, rating the service ‘Very Good’ in their inspection report.

The dedication of our teams care and commitment to the people we support is at the heart of these results. Sara Murphy, Community Integrated Care’s Managing Director for Scotland, said: “This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the dedication, compassion and professionalism of our teams. The Care Inspectorate’s findings highlight what truly matters – people experiencing meaningful, fulfilling lives with support that is flexible, respectful and centred around their goals.
