Panto Finalist For Celebrate Aberdeen Award

Community Integrated Care is proud to share that our Peter Pan pantomime has been shortlisted for the prestigious “Event of the Year” category at the 2025 Celebrate Aberdeen Awards.

People we support take to the stage in annual Aberdeenshire PantomimeHeld at Aberdeen Arts Centre on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th November 2024, the pantomime was a magical showcase of creativity, inclusion and community spirit. Co-created by over 50 people supported by our charity, alongside colleagues, family and friends, the production brought together a diverse cast and crew to deliver a truly unforgettable performance.

The pantomime, which originated in 2019 through Inspire, prior to its merger with Community Integrated Care, has grown into a cherished annual tradition. From leading roles to set design, every element is shaped by the talents and passions of those involved – empowering colleagues and people supported by our charity to build new skills, express themselves creatively, and experience the joy of live theatre.

Sara Murphy, Managing Director for Scotland at Community Integrated Care, said, “We’re absolutely thrilled that our pantomime has been nominated for an award. It’s a wonderful recognition of the creativity, dedication and teamwork of everyone involved – from the people we support to our incredible colleagues and volunteers. This celebration is a testament to what we can achieve together, and we couldn’t be prouder.”
The Celebrate Aberdeen Awards shine a spotlight on the incredible contributions of third sector organisations across the region. Winners will be announced at a gala ceremony in Aberdeen, on Saturday 1st November 2025.
