Music Star Delivers Exclusive Gig!

The music of one of the UK’s hottest new bands, Daydreamers, was brought to social care – as their lead singer, Riley, delivered an unforgettable free concert for people who draw on care and support.

Riley teamed up with Community Integrated Care to deliver a free concert on the charity’s What To Do platform. Inspiring people who have learning disabilities, autism and mental health challenges, daydreamers, whose sun-soaked indie-pop tracks have racked up almost 20 million streams on Spotify and fans across the globe, are known not only for their anthems, but for their authentic connection with their audience.

With daydreamers being supported by BBC Radio 1 and MTV, plus building a loyal fanbase with festival slots at Isle Of Wight, Latitude, TRNSMT, and Reading & Leeds, as well as gigs at the o2 Academy Brixton, this was a truly special performance by a rising star.

What To Do is the ground-breaking, fully inclusive activity platform from Community Integrated Care. It offers people who draw on care and support exclusive free live sessions every week, ranging from music and fitness to arts and education. It has been named as Best Innovation by Caring Times.

Riley’s appearance follows in the footsteps of acclaimed artists like Jo Hill and reflects the growing wave of public figures using the platform to make culture and creativity more accessible.

Riley said: “I was honestly buzzing to be invited to perform for Community Integrated Care’s What To Do community. We’ve been so lucky to have people find joy in our music in concerts and online. Sharing that joy directly with people who may not usually have easy access to live music was something I really wanted to do.

I really loved this concert and having the chance to chat to everyone about their lives and our music. It was a really beautiful, inspiring experience. I love what Community Integrated Care does and what their Best Lives Possible mission stands for – it was an honour to support such a special charity.”

John Hughes, Director of Partnerships and Communities at Community Integrated Care, said: “daydreamers ethos is all about community, positivity and inclusion, so Riley was the perfect guest for What To Do. For many people who draw on social care, opportunities to experience live music can be challenging. It was wonderful to see Riley’s personal commitment to challenging this inequality. The energy, positivity and fun of the concert was incredible and truly made a difference. daydreamers and Riley have built many new fans in this experience, so we are excited to upon this special relationship in the future.”
