Colleonard Court Receives Fantastic Ratings

The team at Colleonard Court care home in Banff are delighted to have achieved Very Good in all areas, in their latest inspection from the Care Inspectorate.

As a result of the team’s hard work, inspectors rated the service ‘Very Good’ – sharing that people supported at the service “led active and fulfilling lives”, enjoying a variety of activities which made them feel part of the local community. Throughout the inspection report, a range of positive comments from family members were highlighted, celebrating the team’s dedication and the deep level of care and respect they show for everyone living at the service.

Registered Manager for Colleonard Court, Gillian Dey, said, “When we found out that we were rated ‘Very Good’, the whole team were absolutely delighted. At Colleonard Court, we work really hard to provide the best lives for the people we support. For example, we recently threw a Halloween party which was attended by 130 people we support, family, and friends. All the proceeds are going towards our garden renovation, which will give people more space to relax and enjoy nature. We’re thrilled to have received such excellent feedback from the Care Inspectorate and, as the Registered Manager for the service, I’m incredibly proud of the whole team.”

She continued, “Many colleagues at the service have worked with the people we support for many years, so seeing their efforts commended is a real pleasure. We’d like to say thank you to the Care Inspectorate for recognising the passion and commitment of everyone who works at Colleonard Court, and a big well done to the team on this amazing result.”
