Age Exchange Unveils New Look!
Community Integrated Care’s subsidiary charity, Age Exchange, has today unveiled its bold new brand identity – marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in its 40-year journey. The relaunch reflects the charity’s role as both a much-loved community hub and a national voice for the power of creativity in social care.
Age Exchange exists to empower and enable people through creativity, culture and connection. Every year it delivers thousands of hours of person-centred programmes, supports people across its vibrant Blackheath Hub, and works in partnership with leading organisations to champion independence, wellbeing and social inclusion, on a national scale.
Rebekah Adey, CEO of Age Exchange, said, “We are proud to be a charity with a national voice and a local heart. Our new brand represents the vibrancy, diversity, and innovation that defines us – but our mission remains unchanged: to empower and enable people through creativity and connection.”
She continued, “Every day we see how the power of the arts can break down barriers, celebrate individuality, and help people grow in skills, confidence and joy. We believe our refreshed look reflects this spirit perfectly and shines a light on the joyful impact we make here in our Blackheath community and across the UK.”
Arts that changes lives
As a subsidiary of Community Integrated Care, Age Exchange is the only arts organisation embedded within a social care provider. Over the years, it has also worked with many of Britain’s most respected museums, sporting organisations, universities, and theatres to pioneer programmes centred on creativity, reminiscence and community engagement.
Meaningful impact, every day
At the heart of its work is the Blackheath Hub – welcoming more than 180,000 visitors every year. With a café, library, arts spaces, and a base for vital care and support services, the hub is a vibrant and inclusive home for creativity and community.
A big future of possibilities
With a refreshed brand and new website, Age Exchange is setting out its ambition to build on its legacy and make an even greater impact across social care and the arts.
