We’ve been shortlisted for the IoIC Awards!

Community Integrated Care is delighted to have been shortlisted for The Institute of Internal Communications’ National Awards – taking place this Friday 22nd September – for ‘Best Video’ in recognition of our charity’s Best Lives Possible video, showcasing the amazing experiences and aspirations of the people we support, with the help of our incredible colleagues.

With footage captured from across our regions, the video showcases many of the fantastic people who make up our organisation, and highlights our bold vision of creating a life of choice, independence and opportunity.

We unveiled this special video for the very first time at our Best Lives Possible Roadshow in October 2022, where we welcomed over 400 of our charity’s leaders together to officially launch our strategy.

Hosted annually, The IoIC National Awards celebrates the very best internal communications professionals, projects and skills, and this year saw over 300 nominations submitted across a variety of categories. Over the past few years, our charity has been proud to have been recognised at the prestigious event, including being amongst the finalists for ‘Best Public Sector Team’ in 2021, and awarded the ‘Best In-House Team’, ‘Best not-for profit Communication’ and ‘Most Effective Culture Change’ accolades in 2019.

With some huge names also shortlisted for ‘Best Video’ this year, including British Council, Lloyds Banking and AQA, we’re proud to be recognised amongst an outstanding group of finalists.

Our charity’s Senior Internal Communications & Engagement Manager, Siobhan Biggane, said: “Best Lives Possible represents an exciting vision that there’s always more that we can do as an organisation to improve the lives of the people we support. So, we knew that when we launched it to the organisation, we had to ensure that it was done in a really special way that befitted its ambition – and of course, the fantastic people who make it possible every day. We’re really proud of what we’ve created in this video, which is only possible due to the stars of the show: the people we support and our colleagues who proudly featured. This nomination is really all about them.”

Winners will be announced in an awards ceremony this Friday 22nd September in London.
