We Feature In Tennis Art Exhibition
Community Integrated Care has been spotlighted in a national art exhibition celebrating the power of sport, creativity and inclusion.
Our charity is proud to be one of the featured partners in The Emotion of Tennis – a unique collaboration between the LTA Tennis Foundation and DegreeArt Gallery.
Launched at the HSBC Championships at The Queen’s Club on 9th June, the exhibition brought together leading artists, professional players and organisations from across British tennis to explore the human stories behind the sport.
At the heart of the exhibition is a focus on the people, passion and emotion that define tennis – both on and off the court. Artists were invited to work closely with players and organisations, creating original works inspired by real-life experiences, relationships and impact.
Showcasing the impact of Serving Inclusion
Community Integrated Care’s contribution reflects the success of our pioneering Serving Inclusion programme, delivered with support from the LTA and LTA Tennis Foundation.
This ambitious initiative is transforming opportunities for people with learning disabilities and autistic people, by making tennis more inclusive and accessible. Through welcoming environments and tailored support, the programme empowers people to build confidence, develop new skills and strengthen social connections.
As part of the exhibition, artist Sarah Emily Porter collaborated with our charity to create a series of vibrant abstract paintings inspired by our work. The pieces celebrate our mission to empower people to live bold and fulfilled lives, highlighting how sport can break down barriers and create a sense of belonging.
Through creative interpretation, the pieces aim to capture the real-life impact that our Serving Inclusion programme has on people’s wellbeing, confidence and connections.
A percentage of all artwork sales from The Emotion of Tennis exhibition will be donated to the LTA Tennis Foundation, helping to fund programmes and partnerships that make tennis more accessible and inclusive across Britain.
John Hughes, Director of Partnerships and Communities at Community Integrated Care, said, “Serving Inclusion represents a groundbreaking approach to tackling some of the deepest health, social and economic inequalities in society through sport. In this partnership, the LTA Tennis Foundation are directly transforming the lives of people whose needs and ambitions are too rarely seen and supported. We are honoured to support this innovative celebration of the vital work of the LTA Tennis Foundation, and their fundraising efforts.”
