Person We Support Performs in Elvis Celebration!

Yesterday, Community Integrated Care was proud to welcome Elvis tribute acts Bob Morris and Paul Nicoll to the What To Do stage, where they performed all the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll’s classics in an exclusive Elvis celebration.

As an individual supported by our charity in Aberdeen, the evening saw Paul’s dreams come true as he shared the stage with Bob, one of Britain’s most successful Elvis tribute acts, who has toured around the world.

Working together to put on the Elvis experience of a lifetime, the duo performed a wide selection of Presley’s rockabilly numbers to an excited audience of people with care and support needs, as well as their care workers.

Coinciding with the release of ‘Elvis’, the new blockbuster film which retells the star’s life, both Bob and Paul also took the time to share what makes Elvis and his legacy so special to them personally.

As with all What To Do events, the celebration was free for people with care and support needs and their carers to attend, taking place over Zoom and offering the people we support the chance to make new friends across the country.

The event follows news that What To Do has been shortlisted for The Best Use of Technology Award at the Charity Times Awards 2022, recognising how the programme has utilised the power of technology to enhance the lives of the people we support.

With free and accessible events taking place every day from Monday to Saturday each week, click here to visit the What To Do website and find out more about the programme.
