We celebrate our 34th Birthday!

Community Integrated Care has been proud to celebrate its 34th birthday today (Tuesday 15th March), marking the occasion honouring our charity’s new five-year organisational strategy by creating the #BestDayPossible for both colleagues and people supported.

To celebrate the occasion, our charity has hosted a special digital festival featuring celebrities and sports stars alike, who have hosted interactive skill sessions and once-in-a-lifetime experiences, with hundreds of care services across the country getting involved throughout the day.

The sessions have been delivered through our ground-breaking digital activity platform, www.What-To-Do.co.uk, with an incredible array of accessible and inclusive experiences, including activity sessions with Manchester City in the Community and Warrington Wolves Foundation, a virtual styling session with make-up artist to the stars, Clare Pinkey, and even an exclusive performance from New York City by award-winning US theatre star, Morgan Kirner.

Mark Adams, CEO at Community Integrated Care said, “As we celebrate our charity’s 34th birthday, I’d like to pay special tribute to Dr David Robertson, our Founder and Life President, who established Community Integrated Care with the vision of a fair and inclusive society for all. I’m so proud that, through all of our incredible colleagues, that vision remains the absolute core of who we are and what we do today.”

He continued, “I hope that today’s #BestDayPossible festival has been truly special for everyone involved. I’d like to say thanks and recognise our colleagues’ outstanding contributions to creating the Best Lives possible for thousands of people, not just today, but for the past three decades. Thank you.”
