Trustees join summer picnic in Middlesex!

Two of Community Integrated Care’s services in Middlesex were delighted to welcome members of our Board of Trustees to a special summer picnic last Friday (7th July).

Trustees visit our Middlesex servicesTrustees, Keith Rhodes and Shaun Gallagher, enjoyed visiting our Kingsway and Lowdell services, to find out more about the incredible support that our teams provide there.

Following tours of each of the services, both had a chance to meet the teams and the people we support, whilst also joining in with the day’s activities. This included making lunch, enjoying a picnic in the park and planting wildflowers.

Speaking about their visit, Shaun Gallagher said, “It was a brilliant day and really inspiring to see our colleagues in person, supporting people to have fun, learn new skills, and live the best lives possible. We’d like to thank colleagues and the people supported at Kingsway and Lowdell for inviting us into their homes and giving us such a warm welcome.”

Liz Donnelly, Head of Operations for our charity’s South and Central region, said, “It was a pleasure to welcome Keith and Shaun to our services in sunny London on Friday. Everyone had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the special visit! I’d like to thank them both for joining us and taking the time to meet some of our wonderful people, and also for getting stuck in with the activities we had planned. We were really proud to showcase the inspiring work of our teams in the region, to ensure that the people we support live happy and fulfilling lives.”
