This week on What To Do
Our free online activities website
Created by Community Integrated Care, www.What-To-Do.co.uk was designed to give people who access care and support a range of brilliant, interactive, and engaging online activity sessions every day.
We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn, discover new skills, have fun, and connect with others. This is at the heart of “What To Do!”
Here’s this week’s Timetable: 30th May 2022 – 5th June 2022
Monday – Colour & Chat
This Jubilee week, join our queen-themed colour and chat session!
This session will combine our usual activities with some creative thinking, as you’ll be able to colour in your very own king and queen. Think about what they believe in and what they do each day, and you can show the group and tell us about them.
This fun, informal session is a chance to imagine a queen of your very own, we can’t wait to see who you create!
Tuesday – Chef’s Cook-Along – We’re making Vegetarian Fajitas!
Rumour has it that scones are the Queen’s favourite sweet treat…
What better way to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee than making the Queen’s favourite dessert?
Tune in and learn how make this dish with Pompey in the Community. This is an accessible and rewarding class that encourages independence.
Wednesday – Move to music
Until Nicola returns with Let’s Dance next week, we’ve got something just as good to get you in the groove next Wednesday…
Are you a music lover? Jam along and sway to the beat with us in our Move To Music session!
Friday – Singing with Caroline
This Friday, we’ll be welcoming Opera Singer Caroline Kennedy to the What To Do stage!
With songs inspired by the Jubilee, you won’t want to miss out on this exclusive royal singing session.
Saturday – Disco
Get your dancing shoes on!
Every Saturday, it’s your favourite virtual disco party!
Hosted by the legendary DJ Ged, the tunes are flowing every week! Have a dance along or sit back and listen to the music. Remember to request your favourites and to say hello to people who are joining the Disco from across the country!
I like to partayyy… everybody does!
A bit more about What To Do!
What To Do was designed to help the people we support to stay fit and active, whilst also tackling isolation and loneliness. Through fun, educational, and virtual activities hosted Monday – Saturday, we’re ensuring that people have incredible opportunities to learn, have fun and get social.
