Teresa Exelby Highly Commended in HR Awards

Community Integrated Care was proud to see our Chief People Officer, Teresa Exelby, awarded a Highly Commended recognition at last night’s HR Excellence Awards in London.

Hosted by HR Magazine, the prestigious awards shine a light on best practice and celebrate HR professionals who are pushing the boundaries in people strategy.

Shortlisted alongside nine other leaders for the HR Director of the Year accolade, the recognition celebrates Teresa’s achievements in leading the charity’s extensive wellbeing strategy and benefits package. This includes the introduction of an industry-leading rate of pay for frontline Support Workers earlier this year, to £10 per hour in England and £11 per hour in Scotland.

Teresa said, “I’m honoured to be recognised [as Highly Commended] for such a prestigious accolade and to be flying the flag for the incredible work taking place in the social care sector.”

She continues, “Of course, none of this would be possible without the outstanding work of our entire People Service’s Team, who work tirelessly to enable our frontline colleagues to deliver the best lives possible. This recognition is a celebration of everyone’s work over the past year and their commitment to delivering projects for our colleagues that really work.”
