The Peele Welcomes GE Capital Volunteers

A team of volunteers from financial services company GE Capital have delighted staff and residents at Wythenshawe-based care home The Peele, by generously giving their time to help brighten the home, just in time for summer!

GE Capital VOlunteersThe group of seven, from GE Capital’s Sale office, chose to donate their time to the Community Integrated Care home, as part of GE Capital’s corporate volunteer scheme, which encourages employees to give back to their local community.

The team worked with enthusiasm, painting and decorating the bedrooms, after residents chose how they would like their own personal space to be decorated.

Lin Block, Home Manager at The Peele, says: “We were thrilled to welcome the team from GE Capital, who have so generously decided to volunteer with us. The effort they have put into making our residents’ rooms space such bright and pleasant areas is wonderful. Everyone here is so thankful for their hard work.”
