Mark named in Social Care Top 30

Our CEO Mark Adams has been named one of the finalists in Care Talk’s Social Care Top 30, recognising influential leaders in social care who have made a significant difference to the sector.

Over the past 18 months, leaders across social care have stepped up to ensure the sector continues to deliver vital services to the people it supports. Throughout, Mark has consistently challenged the status quo, locking down prior to the Government announcement, collaborating with the BBC on an award-winning Panorama programme and highlighting the vast shortages in PPE.

In recent months our charity has been at the forefront of innovation in the sector, introducing a 4-day work week, embracing new innovations and technology, and revealing the Unfair To Care report on the social care workforce crisis highlighting the vital need for reform.

Mark Adams, CEO of Community Integrated Care says:

“To be named amongst some of our sector’s top leaders is a true honour and a clear recognition of the incredible work of our teams who have worked tirelessly to navigate the everchanging landscape of the pandemic. I’m proud of the dedication I have seen across Community Integrated Care and each individual’s commitment to providing the best care possible to the people we support.”

“In what has been a very challenging year for our charity, and our sector as a whole, the need to reform social care has never been more important. Our charity will continue to be a leading voice in social care working closely with our partners across the sector to lobby for much needed change.”

The overall winner of this prestigious accolade will be decided by votes from Care Talk readers, colleagues and experts in the industry.  You can vote now at www.caretalk.co.uk/poll/the-social-care-top-30-vote-here/  Voting closes on 30th September.
