Mark Adams named in Social Care Top 30

We’re proud to announce that our CEO, Mark Adams, has been named amongst this year’s finalists in Care Talk’s Social Care Top 30.

The shortlist recognises influential leaders in social care who have shown real leadership and excellence in the sector.

Winners will be decided by public vote and announced in a special ceremony on Wednesday 19th October 2022 at the London Marriot Hotel, Grosvenor Square.

With Mark’s departure from the care sector taking place at the end of this month, the nomination is testament to his incredible impact over the past five years, transforming and growing our charity and campaigning for the wider sector.

Under Mark’s leadership Community Integrated Care has been at the forefront of innovation and technology; highlighted the vital need for sector reform in the launch of our Unfair To Care report on the social care workforce crisis; invested in our colleagues to provide sector-leading pay rates; and driven forward life-changing partnerships that have enabled the people we support to live the best lives possible.

Mark said, “I’m extremely humbled to have been named amongst the Top 30 Leaders in Social Care. Over the past five years, I’ve had the absolute privilege of holding the position of Chief Executive Officer at Community Integrated Care. Within this time, I’ve witnessed first-hand, the life-changing support that social care provides to society. This recognition reflects the work of our incredible teams who work tirelessly to deliver the best lives possible for the people we support.”
