Inspirted Hand Sanitizer

Gin company, Inspirited have partnered with local gin-makers McLeans to transform their factory into making bottles of hand sanitizer. The two companies are donating the bottles to ‘key workers’ fighting against the current Coronavirus outbreak including the NHS and local charities.

The bottles will be used by Community Integrated Care’s frontline colleagues who are delivering care and support to hundreds of people across Scotland who have learning disabilities, mental health concerns or dementia. With people working in the social care sector having been described as ‘critical workers’ during the current Coronavirus outbreak.

Amy Hume, Regional Manager at Community Integrated Care commented, “A huge thank you to Inspirited for donating these huge bottles of hand sanitizer to our charity, they will be absolutely vital in keeping our colleagues and the people we support safe. The sanitizer has been distributed to our teams across Scotland and bottles have now landed in our services.”

“The amount of community spirit we’ve seen over the past few weeks has been phenomenal – there is so much support for charities like ours and for that we’re truly thankful.”
