Local business makes life-changing donation

ACS, a maintenance specialist company based in Halton, has made a donation to local social care charity, Community Integrated Care.

Witnessing first-hand the specialist support provided by the charity’s dedicated teams, ACS’ Company Director, Andy Horabin, made a special donation to support the charity’s work.

These funds are being invested in the charity’s local work to support people who have learning disabilities, autism, and mental health concerns to enjoy special projects that promote their health and wellbeing.

Andy Horabin said:

“At ACS, we care about our local community. We’ve been proud to work with Community Integrated Care for many years and have seen the big difference that they make to local people.

It is fantastic to know that this support will help to give local people who access care and support new opportunities to have fun and develop new skills.”

John Hughes, Director of Partnerships and Communities at Community Integrated Care said:

“This donation from ACS is making a real difference to the people we support in Halton. Like Community Integrated Care, ACS was founded in Widnes and is committed to making a real difference to local people.

We deliver some incredible projects in the local community, which promote health, physical activity, and education. These are only possible because of the support of our partners like ACS. We would like to thank Andy and the team for their kindness and ongoing support.”
