Holmdale crowned winners at North West Awards

Community Integrated Care are proud to celebrate our Holmdale Service in Runcorn being awarded the prestigious Care Team accolade at this year’s Great British Care Awards North West, on Saturday (12th November).

Celebrating teams that communicate excellently, where each team member gives it their all, the award is well-deserved for all of their inspiring efforts over the past 12 months.

As a team, Holmdale are driven to provide as much independence and person-centred care as possible. This involves constantly searching for new, personalised activities which are accessible to people supported, as well as developing a deep understanding of each individual.

On the evening, we also had another 5 incredible finalists:

• The Care Employer Award – Community Integrated Care
• The Care Innovator Award – Community Integrated Care & Rugby League World Cup 2021
• The Home Care Worker Award – Emma Whurr, Service Leader at Hyndelle Lodge
• The Housing With Care Award – Crawford Gardens
• The Putting People First Award – Somerset House

We’re delighted that Crawford Gardens and our partnership with Rugby League World Cup 2021 were highly commended in their respective categories, too.

Saturday’s awards ceremony forms part of the Great British Care Award’s regional events, celebrating excellence across the sector. The ceremonies continue to take place throughout this month across other regions, with Community Integrated Care celebrating 32 finalists in total.

Winners from the regional events will go through to a National Finals taking place in 2023.
