Green Heys Giving Gold Standard Care

Community Integrated Care is delighted to announce that Green Heys Care Home in Waterloo, Merseyside has been recognised for the standard of care it provides for residents.

The home, which supports 47 older people, has the honour of becoming the first care home in Sefton to receive the Gold Standard Framework Quality Hallmark Award.

The accreditation recognises care homes that support residents approaching the end of their lives to receive the care they want, where they want it, protecting them from inappropriate hospital admissions and increasing their chances of dying in their preferred place of care – the care home.

Debbie Higgins, Home Manager at Green Heys, says: “We are delighted to have been awarded this prestigious honour.

“We pride ourselves on offering an excellent standard of care to our residents, and this has really enabled us to deliver the care they deserve in the last days and months of their lives.”
