Get in the Halloween spirit with What To Do!

Community Integrated Scare poster decorated with cartoon ghosts, pumpkins and bats.On Monday 31st October, our charity is delighted to be hosting an afternoon-long programme of fiendish Halloween events, all on What-To-Do.co.uk!

What To Do offers a diverse range of free accessible and adaptable activities every day for people who access care and support. With sessions delivered by world class partners, across the arts, culture, sport and community sectors, the site has changed lives and connected hundreds of people who access care across Britain.

Free to attend for people with care and support needs, Support Workers, and family carers, the spook-tacular programme will feature appearances from Actor Isaac Nixon, professional Makeup Artist Clare Pinkney, and famous Producer Nutty P, among other guests.

Offering participants the opportunity to get creative, active, and make new friends, all whilst celebrating the scariest time of the year, the event will cater to a wide range of interests, from magic to creepy crafts.

Sam Turner, Digital Inclusion Manager at Community Integrated Care, said, “For Halloween this year, we’ve got all sorts of spooky sessions planned, which we can’t wait to deliver! Whether you’re sporty, musical, or artistic, there’s something for everybody to enjoy, so I would really encourage anybody interested to come along.”

“What To Do is such an incredible platform for people with care and support needs to meet new people and discover new passions, all from the comfort of their own home. We hope this afternoon full of ghoulish activities will help people get into the Halloween spirit and learn something new along the way!”

The programme for the day is now available on the What To Do website, with the Zoom links to be shared closer to the time.

Sessions will begin at 2pm, so make sure to join for a scarily good time!
