Our Fan-tastic Guide to Rugby League Nations!

Are you new to Rugby League? Download our unique guides for all the nations participating at the RLWC2021, created by participants in our Inclusive Volunteering Programme.

The ‘Fan-tastic Guide to the Rugby League World Cup 2021’ offers brilliant facts, trivia and insights into each of the teams participating at the tournament, ideal for anyone who wants to understand Rugby League more.

This inclusive project is part of our Inclusive Volunteering Programme, which is designed to develop skills, friendships and new passions for people who access care and support. Giving its participants the chance to develop digital research skills through exploring their passion for Rugby League, this simple project has a life-changing impact.

The guide was developed by a team of ten volunteers from across England.  Their incredible work has been formulated into a special fan guide that can be downloaded for free now. It is also being utilised by BBC Sport’s Chief Rugby League Correspondent, Dave Woods, in his tournament commentary notes.

Ben Berry, Inclusive Volunteering Specialist at Community Integrated Care, says: “This fan-guide is packed with incredible facts and trivia, that give you all that you need to be ready for the Rugby League World Cup 2021. Through developing this resource, our volunteers have built a range of new digital skills that promote independence and fun in their day-to-day lives. This is just one example of the creative ways that we are using the tournament to change lives.

We hope that many fans download and enjoy this fantastic free resource.”
