Excellent Care Inspectorate rating for Richmond Day Care Service

Community Integrated Care is delighted to announce that Richmond Day Care Service in Dumfries has been rated ‘Excellent’ by the Care Inspectorate for the quality of their staff.

In their recent inspection report, Care Inspectorate regulators awarded the quality of Richmond Day Care’s staff team an ‘Excellent’ rating, commending them on their commitment, motivation and dedication and ‘were impressed by the levels of compassion and enthusiasm within the workforce’.

Richmond Day Care, which offers stimulating activities, entertainment and companionship to older people in the Dumfries community, also received ‘Very Good’ ratings in all other areas of their inspection report. This included high praise for the management team’s commitment to engaging relatives and service users in developing their care provision.

Kerry Higgins, Service Leader for Charnwood Lodge, says: “We were absolutely delighted to have received such positive feedback following our recent inspection. To have been commended so highly by the Care Inspectorate means so much to our staff. They really go do above and beyond to ensure the people we support have the best experiences possible, so it’s fantastic that their hard work and dedication has been recognised.”
