Eden Drive Service Rated ‘Very Good’

Community Integrated Care is delighted to celebrate our Eden Drive supported living service in Peterhead achieving a rating of ‘Very Good’ in their latest Care Inspectorate report and receiving recognition from inspectors for supporting people to lead, “full and meaningful lives.”  

Eden Drive provides housing and care support to four people with a range of support needs. In their latest inspection by the Care Inspectorate, the team achieved a ‘Very Good’ rating in all areas including how they support people’s wellbeing and how good the service is.  

Inspectors praised the team across all aspects of care and support, particularly highlighting how the team promote independence and create a sense of belonging. They shared how the team worked together to ensure people were living in an, “enriching home environment” where people are empowered to make choices, build confidence and that, “their worth and value was recognised.”  

In the report, one person we support shared how the team helps them to maintain a job, which makes them feel independent, describing how Eden Drive has provided a, “safe and stable home” that has enabled them to pursue their personal goals, fulfil their wishes to work and has, “had a positive impact on their wellbeing.”

The whole team consistently go above and beyond to deliver high-quality care and support people to live full and productive lives, empowering the people we support to contribute fully to home life. It was especially rewarding to read the inspector was welcomed to the home by people we support who felt a true sense of belonging, which is a real testament to the approach and commitment shown by the team every day. We are all delighted with this well-deserved achievement.”
