Deputy CEO for Entrepreneur Award

Cath Murray-Howard, Community Integrated Care’s Deputy CEO and Director of Business Development & Performance will tonight contest the prestigious Entrepreneurial Achievement Award at the Laing Buisson Independent Healthcare Awards.

The Laing Buisson Independent Healthcare Awards celebrate the innovative thinkers, inspiring performers and commercial successes within the sector. Tonight’s glittering ceremony will be held at the London Lancaster Hotel, and will be presented by respected BBC newsreader and journalist, Huw Edwards.

Cath has been shortlisted due to her entrepreneurial flair in transforming Community Integrated Care, bringing on board almost £10 million of new business since she joined the organisation in February 2012. Equally, she has given back to the wider sector too – supporting major partnerships, research and conferences with her knowledge and expertise.

Cath’s commercial skills are matched equally by her commitment to providing excellent care. She has led the creation of our new five year strategy, which outlines our ambition to become ‘The UK’s Leading Health and Social Care Charity ‘. In late 2013, Cath oversaw a full rebrand of the organisation, reforming from CIC Group to our full name of Community Integrated Care; giving our charity a more distinct and meaningful identity.

Neil Matthewman, Community Integrated Care’s CEO, says: “Cath’s incredible contribution to the leadership of this organisation has been outstanding. Since joining Community Integrated Care, she has shown endless ambition and vision, and worked in partnership to create and transform many services, meaning we can offer truly life-changing support to more people.”

“As an excellent ambassador for both Community Integrated Care and the wider health and social care sector, I can think of no more deserving recipient of this award than Cath.”
