Community Integrated Care shortlisted for two National Care Awards

Community Integrated Care is thrilled to be shortlisted in two categories at the National Care Awards. Two of our most inspiring colleagues, Phil Benson and Andy Hood, are up for top awards in recognition of their amazing work supporting people who have learning disabilities or live with dementia.

The National Care Awards are supported by Caring Times Magazine. They have been running for 18 years and celebrate the best in long-term care.

Dementia Care Manager – Phil Benson

Phil oversees EachStep Blackburn, our pioneering new specialist dementia care home. He’s been recognised for his efforts to deliver an innovative model of person-centred care and put the home at the heart of the community.

Special Needs Manager – Andy Hood

Andy has been instrumental in the creation of Tees Alive, a brilliant Stockton-based service that supports people with learning disabilities to enjoy fun activities and develop valuable life skills.
