Hat-trick at the Internal Communication Awards

Community Integrated Care’s Internal Communications Team has won three top accolades and was shortlisted for a further three awards at last week’s Institute of Internal Communications Awards.  IOIC Awards

Thursday evening saw Danielle Chan, Head of Communications & Engagement and Siobhan Biggane, Internal Communications & Engagement Manager win the ‘Best In-House Team’, ‘Best not-for-profit Communication’ and ‘Most Effective Culture Change’ awards for the launch of the organisation’s new five year strategy, We Dare.

On the night, the judges commended the exceptional team, stating, “this daring duo have delivered and achieved so much in such a short space of time, they have the wow factor!”.

The Institute of Internal Communications is the UK’s independent body dedicated to internal communications in the workplace, with their annual prestigious awards ceremony celebrating innovation and expertise in the field.

The talented team also received Awards of Excellence in the ‘Best Campaign’, ‘Employee Event of the Year’ categories following a whole host of successes in the past year which in addition to the outstanding strategy launch, includedthe launch of many exciting projects and recognition schemes and a successful celebration of Community Integrated Care’s 30th anniversary.

And finally, to round up to an incredible six nominations, Community Integrated Care’s CEO Mark Adams, received an Award of Excellence for the ‘CEO Board Champion Award’, which celebrates a CEO who champions engagement at all levels of the organisation and believes in the power of ensuring staff are informed, excited and involved.

The success of the team has placed them alongside and above a host of high-calibre national brands including, AO, Mercedes Benz, AstraZeneca, Yorkshire Building Society and Hermes. IOIC Awards
