World Mental Health Day 2020!

World Mental Health Day takes place today, on Saturday 10th October, and Community Integrated Care will be marking the day by reminding colleagues of the wide range of wellbeing resources available to them.  World Mental Health Day

This year’s World Mental Health Day is being classed as the most important one yet, with the past few months of the Coronavirus pandemic having a huge impact on everyone’s own mental wellbeing.

Community Integrated Care is proud to have a number of projects, schemes and partnerships to help improve our colleague experience and wellbeing. The charity has also invested in a number of quality services that provide colleagues with free, independent and expert support in many areas of their lives, such as Work Place Options and Able Futures.

Thanks to a number of initiatives, Community Integrated Care also offers colleagues financial support for those who are at-risk or are currently in financial difficulty. The organisation has partnered with schemes such as Neyber, which supports colleagues with lower-cost finance options, and created its own Wellbeing Fund, where colleagues can access grants to get them back on their feet.

Since the start of the pandemic, the charity has worked hard to produce a range of free wellbeing guides and resources for both colleagues and the people it supports, from Mental Health Tips to Lockdown Activity Guides.

One the resources, ‘Top Tips for Wellbeing’, has been specially created for the charity by health & wellbeing specialist, Tim Holmes. The interactive guide features a series of videos that focus on adopting new routines to enjoy a healthier lifestyle, both at home and at work.
