Director of Partnerships & Communities

Community Integrated Care is proud to announce the appointment of John Hughes as its new Director of Partnerships and Communities.  

John re-joins the charity after working for over a decade within Community Integrated Care’s Marketing and Communications function between 2007 and 2017. As Head of Marketing and Communications, John cultivated sector-leading partnerships and delivered many significant profile-raising initiatives. He then went on to hold the position of Director of Communications and Digital Engagement at Super League rugby league club, Widnes Vikings.

In his role, John will be working on identifying more and better ways to engage with the Community Integrated Care’s communities across the UK, building local and national partnerships in areas such as Sports, Culture and the Arts.

Mark Adams, Chief Executive of Community Integrated Care said, “Since the launch of our five year strategy, John has been instrumental in several of our key initiatives – such as the Community Integrated Care Learning Disability Super League – helping to enhance the profile of our charity and position us as a progressive provider within our sector.”
