New Chief Financial Officer Appointed

Community Integrated Care is proud to announce the appointment of Jim Kane as its new Chief Financial Officer.

Jim, a Chartered Accountant, joins the charity from Interserve Healthcare, where he held the role of Business Development Director for over two years. Previously, he held a number of senior roles at Virgin Care, including Head of Finance, Director of Business Development and Commercial Director. He has also recently been appointed as a Trustee at Home-Start, a charity which provides support to families with young children during challenging times.

Jim takes over from Andrew Sleigh, who has made the personal decision to step down in order to explore other avenues and spend more time with his family. Andrew will continue to support the charity offering financial leadership on a number of key projects, including Age Exchange and EachStep Care.

Speaking of his appointment, Jim said: “I’m really excited to be joining Community Integrated Care at a time of such positive transformation. So far, I’ve been struck by how much energy and enthusiasm everyone has for delivering great care and support.”

“I’m really looking forward to getting started and meeting as many of our frontline colleagues as possible in the coming weeks and months.”

Mark Adams, Chief Executive Officer of Community Integrated Care said: “It’s a case of mixed emotions for me as I’m sad to be losing Andrew in his current role, however I’m confident that these changes to our Executive Team represent a positive step for Community Integrated Care. We not only continue to benefit from Andrew’s experience and expertise, but also have the fresh energy, vision and know-how that I know Jim brings with him in abundance.”

“Jim is an experienced and highly effective leader, and I know that he’s very much looking forward to the opportunity to work for a values-led organisation like ours. I have no doubt that his extensive expertise and skill will help our charity innovate and grow, whilst ensuring that we remain committed to our promise of the Power of Three – a positive impact on our colleagues, the people we support and our communities.”
