Care in Scotland – It’s Life Changing Work!

Community Integrated Care is proud to support a campaign launched by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) which aims to raise awareness of the amazing contribution that staff in our sector make!

With an incredible 1 in 13 people in Scotland working in social services – ‘It’s Life Changing Work’ will bring together the stories, motivations and perspectives of the wide range of people and roles that make up the sector.

SSSC Chief Executive, Anna Fowlie said: “Many people in our communities rely on the crucial work of social service workers and it is important that everyone is aware of the wide ranging, positive and life changing work that those workers do. It’s good to know more about the professional roles they have so that when we come across them, we’ll know more about what they do for us.”

The SSSC is calling out to social service employers and workers to get involved and share their stories about their everyday work – so over the next few weeks, we’ll be bringing you inspiring and thoughtful insights from some of our 1000-strong team in Scotland!
