An award-winning week for our charity!

Community Integrated Care was delighted to celebrate an award-filled week, after being shortlisted in three national ceremonies and taking home two prestigious accolades. The awards recognised outstanding opportunities provided to the people we support and our charity’s commitment to empowering our workforce through professional development.

We were proud to be presented the Corporate National Partnership Champion Award for our relationship with Sport England at the 2023 Charity Times Awards on Wednesday 20th September. The annual event recognises and promotes best practices in the UK not-for-profit sector by bringing together the country’s most inspirational charities.

Judges praised the impact of our ground-breaking collaboration, which creates life-changing personal development opportunities inspired by and delivered with major sporting events such as the Rugby League World Cup 2021, UEFA Women’s EURO 2022, and World Gymnastics Championships 2022.

They said, “This innovative partnership has changed opportunities for people living with disabilities, reaching a large audience through major sporting events and demonstrating high levels of inclusivity.” You can read more about this here.

With the awards celebrating excellence across Human Resources, Organisational Development and Learning and Development, it was an honour for our charity to be announced as winners, amongst household names across a multitude of sectors. Read more about the evening’s success here.

Rounding off an exciting week, we were thrilled to see our charity’s Best Lives Possible video amongst the runners up for Best Video at the The Institute of Internal Communications’ National Awards on Friday 22nd September. Whilst we didn’t take home the trophy, it was an incredible achievement to be shortlisted and a testament to our amazing frontline colleagues who empower and inspire the people we support to live the best lives possible, everyday.
