A Fond Farewell to Linda Gray

Community Integrated Care is saying a fond farewell to Inspire CEO, Linda Gray, today as she marks her final day at the charity.

A person we support hands flowers to Linda Gray, Inspire CEO, and wishes her fond farewell. After 16 incredible years, Linda has made an enormous contribution and lasting impact. Linda recently played an integral role in the successful merger of Inspire and Community Integrated Care, bringing together our two charities with a shared vision for the future of social care.

On the announcement of our merger earlier this year, Linda shared her intention to remain in post for around six months, to ensure a smooth transition and successful integration, before handing over to our Managing Director for Scotland, Sara Murphy.

Jim Kane, Chief Executive Officer at Community Integrated Care said: “During her 16 years at Inspire, Linda has made an enormous contribution and lasting impact. As the architect of the charity’s merger strategy, Linda’s commitment and tenacity to make this union happen – despite the serious setback created by Covid – has been remarkable. In doing so, she has helped secure a long-term, sustainable future for the organisation and I would like to personally thank Linda for her vision, integrity, and hard work during the project.”

In the New Year, Linda will be taking up an exciting new opportunity as Head of Finance for a local sporting charity in the North East of Scotland.

Everyone at Community Integrated Care would like to wish Linda the very best luck for the future.
