Our Leaders Recognised in National Social Care Awards

Three senior leaders from Community Integrated Care have been shortlisted for prestigious national awards, recognising their outstanding contributions to social care and their commitment to improving the lives of people who draw on support.

Samantha Brennan shortlisted for Lifetime Achievement Award

Samantha Brennan, Managing Director at Community Integrated Care, has been shortlisted for the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Social Care Leadership Awards, in recognition of more than 35 years of dedication to the sector.

Beginning her career as a Support Worker at just 16 years old, Samantha has witnessed and contributed to some of social care’s most significant developments, including supporting people to move from long-stay hospitals into their local communities. Today, she leads services supporting around 1,500 people and 2,700 colleagues. Throughout her career, she has remained passionate about championing dignity, choice and opportunity for people who draw on support.

Sara Murphy recognised for leadership in learning disability and autism support

Sara Murphy, Managing Director at Community Integrated Care, has been shortlisted for Executive Learning Disabilities & Autism Leader of the Year at the Social Care Leadership Awards.

Sara’s nomination recognises her unwavering commitment to quality, innovation and inclusion. She has played a leading role in creating opportunities for people with learning disabilities and autistic people, while also helping to shape wider conversations about the future of social care, equality and investment across the sector.

Edd Terrey shortlisted for Care Personality of the Year

Edd Terrey, Managing Director at Community Integrated Care, has been shortlisted for Care Personality of the Year at the National Care Awards.

The nomination recognises Edd’s influential leadership, commitment to innovation and passionate advocacy for social care. Over the past year, he has championed the voices of people who draw on support and frontline colleagues through national campaigns, media engagement and policy discussions, while helping to drive award-winning outcomes across Community Integrated Care.

These nominations recognise the outstanding leadership, passion and commitment that Samantha, Sara and Edd bring to social care, and the positive impact they continue to make for people who draw on support, colleagues and communities.

The Social Care Leadership Awards will take place on Tuesday 13th October, while the National Care Awards will be held on Friday 6th November.
